With cons starting to happen again, one of Netflix’s biggest shows could not be left out. On January 8th, 2022, there was a “La Casa de Papel/Money Heist” convention in Paris. There were three guests in attendance: Itziar Ituño, Luka Peros, and Pedro Alonso, aka Raquel, Marseille, and Berlin. Thank you, Ultim Events, for putting together a great show!
After everyone tested negative, the con could begin. And as usual, nothing starts on time, but everyone was in a great mood and did not care. There were panels and meeting rooms where the audience asked questions about the show and other projects that they have done. My personal favorite was the photo op because it is a memory captured on film. And as the crazy person that I am, I did all the ops meaning I ended up with seven photos, whoops.
At the end of the day, there were autographs where fans could get photo ops or other items signed. Everyone was able to take their time and not be rushed. And in true con style, nothing ends on time. So two hours after the ‘original’ end, the con finally came to end. As a surprise to us all, they announced that there will be another “La Casa de Papel/Money Heist” con sometime in the future.
It was an amazing day filled with love, laughter, and happy tears.
