Heads up, coastlines and big cities. This apocalypse movie looks like a doozy!

The Asylum has another treat for us with “Planetquake!” No thanks to a tectonic shift deep below the Mariana Trench, a series of ever-escalating earthquakes roll across the world with devastating consequences. It looks like the world isn’t even getting a 40 days and 40 nights warning. Nope. Just 65 hours! Bring in a team of seismologists to see what can be done, if anything, to stop the disaster. It’s looking like the Earth will break apart and kill billions of people.

The cast includes action star Michael Paré (Gone, The Lincoln Lawyer), Erica Duke (Mark of Rougarou, Super Shark), and Anthony Jensen (D-Railed, 4 Horsemen: Apocalypse). It was written and directed by Monroe Robertson (Magnum P.I., It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia). Select theaters will get it Jan. 26-Feb. 11, and digital platforms will have it available starting Jan. 26th. Below is a list of theaters to experience the film on the big screen.

  • Laemmle Monica, Los Angeles, CA
  • Hickory Ridge Cinemas, Cleveland, OH
  • Trylon Cinema, Minneapolis, MN
  • O Cinema South Beach, Miami, FL
  • Aurora Cineplex, Atlanta, GA
