Hulu’s new series “Paradise” has quickly become one of the most talked-about shows of this new year. With an all-star cast and its high-stakes drama, this series hooks viewers from the very first episode—and it doesn’t let go. Hulu has kept the show’s official synopsis vague, and for good reason. “Paradise” takes place in an idyllic, secluded community where some of the world’s most prominent individuals reside. But when a shocking murder shatters the peace, an intense investigation ensues—unraveling secrets that threaten to upend everything.
There is SO much more to discover. The first part of the premiere episode takes the viewer on an interesting and eventful journey that doesn’t seem too out of the ordinary. But, keep watching! The episode closes out with a very nice twist and helps set the tone for the rest of the reason. Plus, it’s Sterling K. Brown! “Supernatural” and “This Is Us” fans have been following this super-talent for almost 20 years. Brown’s awards include a couple of Emmys, SAGs, and A Golden Globe. Pretty amazing! And shout out to a personal favorite of mine, Krys Marshall, who plays Danielle Poole in Apple’s “For All Mankind.” I highly recommend that show as well.
With a total of eight episodes, the season finale drops on March 4th—so now is the perfect time to catch up. And the good news? The show has already been renewed for a second season, with filming set to start this spring.
