Brandi Burkhardt has spent her career moving seamlessly between the stage, the screen, and the recording studio, bringing the same emotional truth and charisma to every role she takes on. Broadway audiences know her from standout turns as Lucie Manette in A Tale of Two Cities and Sophie in Mamma Mia!, where her soaring vocals and heartfelt performances left lasting impressions. On television, she won over fans as Crickett Watts in Hart of Dixie, a role that showcased both her comedic instincts and her ability to ground even the quirkiest moments in sincerity. Her résumé also includes guest appearances on series like Mad Men, How I Met Your Mother, and NCIS, proving she’s equally at home in drama, comedy, and musical storytelling.

This past May, Brandi returned to film in the ensemble comedy Friendship, appearing alongside Paul Rudd, Tim Robinson, and Kate Mara. Her presence added style and dimension to a project built around connection and timing. The film’s mix of humor and heart resonates strongly with Brandi’s own creative sensibilities. Particularly at a time when she’s channeling that same energy into her music.

Because 2025 isn’t just a year of screen credits for Brandi, it’s the year she’s stepping fully into her identity as a recording artist. Her debut EP (releasing October 17) is a deeply personal, six-song collection told in “chapters,” each unfolding a new piece of a journey toward self-acceptance and empowerment. It’s a record that trades perfection for honesty, embracing vulnerability as a source of strength. Sonically, it blends nostalgic synth-pop textures with cinematic production, creating a soundscape that feels at once retro and refreshingly modern. The singles released so far—“back / in / time,” “^magic^,” and “electric <3 hearts”—have given fans glimpses of a narrative arc that’s as emotionally rich as it is sonically compelling.

For Brandi, this isn’t just music—it’s a statement of where she is now as an artist and a person. It’s about trusting your voice, your instincts, and your timing, in both art and life. And in many ways, it mirrors the very lessons her career has taught her: that growth often comes when you let go of perfection and step into the unknown.
