Colorado Springs has a comic con and if you’ve never been, you’re missing out.
Colorado Springs Comic Con once again proved why it’s a fan favorite, taking over the Broadmoor World Arena August 15–17, 2025. The venue worked perfectly—easy to get to right off the interstate, plenty of free parking, and a smooth layout that made exploring a breeze. With two main vendor halls, fans wandered between aisles of artists, authors, and vendors selling everything from vintage comic books to their favorite Legos.

Of course, one of the biggest draws was the celebrity guest list. Star Wars fans got to meet Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars. Clerks fans strolled by Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee, Brian O’Halloran, and Jason Mewes, while others swung over to ask Psych stars Timothy Omundson and Kurt Fuller the eternal question: what’s up with the pineapple? The best part? It was all surprisingly relaxed. No need to wait hours in line just to glimpse a star—attendees could get up close and personal for photos, autographs, or even just a friendly hello. This year’s roster also included Starship Troopers stars Jake Busey, Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer, and Michael Ironside, plus fan favorites like Katee Sackhoff, Lana Parrilla, Mena Suvari, and even Priscilla Presley. It was a lineup that had something for everyone.
Families were everywhere, enjoying the kid-friendly vibe. Dads posed with their kids in front of free green screen photo ops, while little ones took center stage in the kids’ cosplay contest. In the vendor area, one young con-goer was spotted racing to catch as many Pokémon balls as possible, proving the con was just as magical for kids as it was for adults. Programming was entertaining: Cosplay contests, themed panels, and even a pajama party that kept the fun going until 1 a.m. Panels gave fans the chance to hear stories and ask questions about Star Wars, Once Upon a Time, Starship Troopers, Psych, and more. The atmosphere was friendly, and one fan mentioned that it was her favorite convention of the year.
As always, cosplay was a highlight, with fans showing creativity and craftsmanship. Catch our slideshow.
And let’s not forget the food! Dippin’ Dots stations kept sweet tooths happy, and that ever-popular mug deal returned—buy a mug once, enjoy free soda refills all weekend long.

For those who’ve been going since the beginning, the growth of this con is nothing short of amazing. I, for one, remember, when this event was just getting started here and was held in an old abandoned mall. One of the panels that I went to at an old Wet Seal store and honestly, it was pretty fantastic! And this convention has grown bigger and even more fantastic. I highly recommend it. And, for those who live back East, Altered Reality hosts numerous conventions out that way. These events are well-organized, fun, safe, and entertaining.
What better way to spend a weekend than geeking out over nerdy treasures, meeting authors, artists, and celebrities, and making memories with friends and family? Colorado Springs Comic Con is a must for fans of all ages, and we can’t wait to see what next year brings. Stay in the know for next year’s comic con.
