Three legendary figures from the world of anime are heading to MEGACON Orlando 2026, giving fans a rare chance to meet some of the creative forces behind several of the medium’s most beloved series.
Ronin Club Collectibles announced that iconic Japanese voice actors Katsuji Mori and Hisao Egawa will appear at the massive pop culture convention alongside acclaimed animator Masaki Sato. The trio will be meeting fans, signing autographs, and celebrating decades of anime history during the convention’s March 19–22 run in Orlando.
Katsuji Mori is widely regarded as one of Japan’s most influential voice actors, with a career spanning more than 50 years. Anime fans will recognize his work as Nail in Dragon Ball Z, along with memorable performances as Garma Zabi in Mobile Suit Gundam, Ken the Eagle in Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Joe Shimamura in Cyborg 009, and Nephrite in Sailor Moon. His performances helped shape the sound of anime throughout the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s.

Joining him is veteran voice actor Hisao Egawa, whose deep and recognizable voice has appeared across numerous major anime franchises. Fans of Dragon Ball Z may remember him as Spopovich, but his career also includes work on series such as One Piece, Bleach, Inuyasha, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Over the years, Egawa has contributed voice work to anime, video games, and film dubbing projects that have reached audiences around the world.
Also attending is renowned animator and character designer Masaki Sato, best known for his work on the global anime phenomenon Dragon Ball Z. As both a key animator and animation director on the series, Sato helped craft many of the show’s most memorable fight sequences and expressive character moments, leaving a lasting visual impact on the franchise. Outside of Dragon Ball Z, he also served as the character designer for the hit basketball anime Slam Dunk and has contributed to numerous other anime productions throughout his career.
During the convention, Sato will appear with Ronin Club Collectibles at Booth 7051, where fans can purchase exclusive sketches and commissioned artwork. Mori and Egawa will be located in the Celebrity Guest Area for meet-and-greets and autograph sessions. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the creators in person, get memorabilia signed, and celebrate the enduring legacy of anime classics.
One of the largest fan conventions in North America, MEGACON Orlando brings together fans of comics, science fiction, fantasy, horror, anime, and gaming each year for a massive multi-day celebration of pop culture. Tickets for the 2026 event, including single-day and limited four-day passes, are currently available through the event’s official website.
