After a summer filled with new music, live performances, and a recent announcement postponing several upcoming shows, Drake Bell has another convention appearance on the horizon. The singer and actor has been announced as one of the celebrity guests at FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention, taking place September 24–26, 2026, at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bell’s appearance comes during his ongoing I Love You era, the new musical chapter he introduced earlier this year while teasing his upcoming album of the same name. Although an official release date for I Love You has not yet been announced, Bell has spent much of 2026 connecting with fans through concerts, convention appearances, and new music. Most recently, however, he announced that several previously scheduled performances would be postponed for personal reasons, promising that the affected shows will be rescheduled.
That makes FanX another opportunity for Bell to reconnect with fans as he looks ahead to the next chapter. While the convention appearance is still a few weeks away, it gives fans another chance to meet the artist in person following an especially eventful year. And Bell won’t be the only familiar face waiting for fans in Salt Lake City.
FanX’s 2026 lineup brings together an impressive mix of actors, musicians, voice actors, creators, and fandom favorites. Among the notable guests is Josh Peck and Jerry Trainor, Bell’s Drake & Josh co-stars. Trainor is scheduled to appear all three days of the convention, Peck will be there Friday and Saturday
Fans of Critical Role will also have plenty to look forward to, with Laura Bailey, Liam O’Brien, Sam Riegel, Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, and Robbie Daymond all scheduled to appear. Group photo opportunities and individual autograph and selfie experiences are available for the cast. The convention also offers plenty for fans of Twilight, with Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone appearing together for special photo opportunities. Rathbone, who played Jasper Hale in The Twilight Saga, is scheduled to appear Thursday through Saturday.
Other major names on the 2026 lineup include Chace Crawford of Gossip Girl and The Boys. Crawford is scheduled to appear Friday and Saturday. Fans can also find appearances and experiences connected to Death Note, Animaniacs, Hazbin Hotel, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, and many more.
For Bell fans, there is also something fitting about his FanX appearance coming during the I Love You era. Bell has built a strong connection with his audience over the years, and FanX gives fans another setting to spend time with him while also being part of a much larger celebration of pop culture. With actors, musicians, voice actors, and creators from across film, television, music, and fandoms all coming together under one roof, Bell’s appearance adds another familiar face to an event designed around bringing fans and the people they love together.
FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention runs September 24–26 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. With a lineup spanning generations of television, film, animation, comics, gaming, and music, the three-day event is shaping up to be a major celebration of fandom—and Drake Bell will be part of it.
As Bell navigates this latest chapter, fans will undoubtedly be looking forward to seeing him back on the convention floor, reconnecting with the audience that has continued to support him throughout his career.
