Fans were left wondering a million different things last season after Eddie was hit by a truck after walking out of a bar. Will Eddie live to renew his vows with Katherine? Did Eddie kill his childhood friend Alex? Will Gary and Maggie get back together? Will Rome and Regina adopt a baby, and the list goes on and on.
Well, we now have a few of those answers after season 3 premiered. Eddie does indeed live, is now paralyzed, and he did renew his vows with Katherine. Gary did not get back together with Maggie and in fact, Maggie is now living in London and was thrown into a very awkward living situation.
Fans were also introduced to some new characters at the end of last season. Gary’s new love interest Darcy, played by, Floriana Lima who has now become a series regular this season, young Alex, played by Olivia Steele Falconer, Alex’s sister, Colleen played by Betsy Brandt and their dad, Reverend Stewart, played by Gerard Plunkett. It is not clear if everyone will be back this season but since Eddie didn’t get all the answers he was looking for last season, it’s likely that young Alex will continue to haunt Eddie through this season.
The highly anticipated premiere also piled on some new questions like any good primetime soap usually does, like was it Eddie’s childhood friend Alex’s dad who hit Eddie with his truck, will Rome and Regina ever adopt a baby after not getting the last one they so desperately wanted, is their unfinished business with Gary and Maggie and what’s in store for Maggie while living abroad.
One thing is certain, season 3 won’t disappoint. Look for “A Million Little Things” to return on December 3, 2020, on ABC.
