‘ADOPTABLE!’ created by Scott Lowell and featuring ‘Supernatural’ fan favorite Emily Swallow, now has a home on BINGEnetworks. Nerd Alert News previously interviewed Lowell on his project while he was still trying to find a place for his mockumentary to be viewed by fans. “Supernatural” fans will be excited to see Swallow in a comedic yet, strong female role. Fans know her as the Darkness, God’s sister on “Supernatural” and now they can see her as the love interest for Lowell’s character.
The series follows character Scott Fishman on a search for his birth parents after being adopted after he was born. This is loosely based off of Lowell’s own experience of being adopted and finding his birth parents. The series is hilarious yet sentimental at the same time, it does a great job at blending those two strong emotions together. The complexities of the storyline and of the characters are not something you might expect from a miniseries such as this one, but “ADOPTABLE!” really delivers. The series has an amazing supporting cast such as Sharon Gless, Jim O’Heir, Gale Harold, Eddie Jemison and many, many more wonderful people.
