Calling all “Robot Chicken” fanatics! Mark September 6, 2021, on the calendar, because the premiere of Adult Swim’s “Robot Chicken,” Season 11 is something you won’t want to miss. The show is set to run nightly from Monday through Thursday, at midnight ET/PT, with the season finale on September 23rd, 2021. 12 new episodes!
“Robot Chicken,” is a stop-motion, zany comedy series that is featured on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim lineup. An ensemble show that parodies current events, pop culture, video games, celebrities, and every other corner of the globe, nothing is off limits from “Robot Chicken,” and their skewered interpretations, which then are made into insane sketches. Season 11 will introduce new characters, like Joe Exotic, Peppa Pig, and others; name any person or event from the past year, and you can bet with high odds that “Robot Chicken” has an offbeat sketch about it.
“Robot Chicken,” prides itself on edgy satire and is shameless when it comes to its reputation of slaying all things popular and controversial. Their sketches are usually dark and gory, with a twisted sense of humor blended in. Insane scenes from past episodes include parodies of “Beauty and the Beast,” in which Belle sings about how horrible her village is; “My Little Pony,” in which the Ponies are turned into “Apocalypse Ponies,” that come to punish mischievous children (and are loosely based on the Bible’s “The Four Horsemen,”); as well as a sketch that includes Scooby-Doo killing off fellow “Hanna Barbera,” characters in an attempt to thwart them from winning a contest. These are just three examples from a show that has been airing since 2005.
The Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim lineup has upped its game this summer with new seasons from “Rick and Morty,” “Tuca and Bertie,” and now “Robot Chicken.” Fans couldn’t be happier.
“Robot Chicken,” was created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreight in 2005 and is also executive produced by them, and their “Stoopid Buddy Stoodio” partners, John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner. The award-winning series is written, voiced, and directed by Green, Senreight, with Tom Sheppard also directing.
Check out the trailer and get ready for even more insanity when you tune in, September 6th, 2021 for the premiere of “Robot Chicken’s” season 11.Â
