Another Colorado Anime Fest is in the books, and, as always, cosplay took center stage. The event was again hosted by the Denver Marriott Tech Center, Mar. 21-23, 2025 which year after year serves as an ideal venue for conventions. The Guests of Honor were the popular Brianna Knickerbocker, Gil Asakawa, Ricco Fajardo, Teca Cosplay, Michael Sinterniklaas, Ciarán Strange, and so many more. Not only was the cosplay creative and incredible, but the 3-day event also had a costume contest, panels, a rave, a manga library, an anime bar, tabletop, and video gaming. The vibe was energetic and encouraging, spreading nothing but love and appreciation. There was so much to do down every hallway and at every turn. However, it was the cosplay that really turned heads.
Anime Cosplay Passion
The cosplayers at Colorado Anime Fest celebrated their love and enthusiasm for the art of cosplay and showcased anime, gaming, and Japanese culture. The creativity and detail that it took to put together a costume from an animated film or TV show was super impressive. And these fans were extraordinary at it! The sewing, gluing, and molding that it took to create not only the clothing but also the props, caught the eye of fellow fans. Many cosplayers couldn’t take five steps without being stopped for photo ops! Nerd Alert News was on hand for some cosplay appreciation.
