Giant spiders crawling on walls, ceilings, and killing people in England. This is the thing nightmares are made of. “Something’s happening with the spiders in this city.”
Scared?
Thankfully The Doctor “eats danger for breakfast.” Jodie Whittaker was there to save England…again. Last night’s “Doctor Who” episode ‘Arachnids in the UK’ was no doubt of the freakiest of the season so far. The Doctor, Yaz, Graham, and Ryan deal with a chilling arachnid problem in Sheffield. Viewers cringed, gasped, and even learned a little about these creepy creatures.
“Sex and the City” favorite Chris Noth guest stars as a billionaire hotel mogul with aspirations of running for president. Sounds familiar? Terrifying eight-legged monsters in one of his prize hotels? That was not going to work for him and he demanded action. Noth perfectly plays the obnoxious and hated character.
The episode was written by Chris Chibnall and directed by Sallie Aprahamian.
Next Sunday’s episode is called ‘The Tsuranga Conundrum’ and guest stars Suzanne Packer, Ben Bailey Smith, Brett Goldstein and Lois Chimimba. The episode was written by Chris Chibnall and directed by Jennifer Perrott.
“Risk to life: absolute.”
Episode description:
“Injured and stranded in the wilds of a far-flung galaxy, The Doctor, Yaz, Graham, and Ryan must band together with a group of strangers to survive against one of the universe’s most deadly – and unusual – creatures.”
