If it was my time to die, being devoured by a giant fish during an apocalypse sounds like an interesting way to go. Considering what a big nerd I am, it would be fitting, right? The Asylum’s latest movie 2025 Armageddon welcomes us to the multiverse of ridiculously large creatures like sharks, alligators, tornados, and mind-melting aliens. Time to call the President and bring out a giant robot (no, not Johnny Sokko’s robot), and defend the planet.

The Asylum has brought out its big guns for its 25th Anniversary year-end extravaganza. A militant alien race is going after Earth with monsters and geological disasters based on those found on Asylum’s own movie channel. Just as the “Galaxy Quest” Thermians thought “Gilligan’s Island” was a documentary, we know that our signals travel through to other planets. It is directed by “Death Count’s Michael Su, and written by “Aquarium Of The Dead’s own Marc Gottlieb. The cast includes Michael Paré (Streets Of Fire), Sarah Lieving (War Of The World, Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus, Monster), Anthony Jensen (Doctor Death), Paul Logan (Mega Piranha), and Jhey Castles (Magnum P.I.).

The film was already released in theaters Dec. 16th, and it comes out on VOD on Dec. 23rd. Merry Christmas, monster lovers!

Sink your teeth into the trailer.
