Fans are reacting to the season three opener of “Star Trek: Lower Decks.” RG said that he had watched the first season 3 episode three times already. He added that honestly, it’s my favorite new Trek. I know it annoys some because it pokes fun at things, but that’s part of what makes it great. Another fan, Jenny, said that she loves the idea of the First Contact amusement park. “Lower Decks” basically proves the future isn’t all that different from our current day world.
The U.S.S. Cerritos is back in action on the popular Paramount Plus network with new episodes every Thursday. The animated Trek series is well-written, funny, and loaded with amazing characters. For those who haven’t explored the series yet, it is absolutely worth the time of the 25-35 minute episodes.
Season three started out with its premiere episode titled ‘Grounded’ which came out on August 25th. The well-intentioned Mariner enlisted the help of her close friends to try to exonerate her mother, Captain Freeman, who was facing charges for the destruction of Pakled Planet. The episode was written by Chris Kula and it was directed by Jason Zurek.
