The Halloween spirit is taking over Downtown Denver
Looking for something to do this Saturday, Oct. 19th, 2024? Denver’s downtown has you covered. Picture this: Zombies crawling down Larimer Square, while South Broadway transforms into a parade of creatures, costumes, and floats that will ignite your Halloween spirit. For those 21 and over, Market Street will host a lively Halloween Bar Crawl, ensuring the night is full of fun and fright. With the 26th just around the corner—the closest Saturday to Halloween—this is the perfect time to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere. So, get those costumes prepped and get ready for a weekend of spooktacular fun. Nerd Alert News found these events to help you kick off your Halloween season this Saturday.
Halloween on Broadway Parade
Oct. 19th, 6:00 PM
What originally started as a small community parade centered around kids, costumes and candy, has turned into a regional attraction with more than 30K spectators last year. They now need pedestrian barricades to ensure everyone’s safety along the parade route. Thanks to community donations and sponsorships they were able to raise more than $42k to pay for those barricades and permits. Thank you to the generous donors who kept this event alive, and see you Saturday!
Denver Zombie Crawl
Oct. 19th, 12:00-6:00 PM
Dodge zombies in Larimer Square at the annual zombie crawl in Denver. It will be a spooky FREE festival celebrating zombie culture complete with DJs spinning Halloween classics, bars serving up spooky cocktails, a costume contest, and more fun. Register by 2:00 for the costume contest at the Shipping Container Bar. Participants can register as an Individual or Group (up to 6 people) entry. The entry fee is $5 for an individual and $10 for a group. Check out the prizes!
1st Place in each category will receive:

- Platinum VIP Entry to any (1) Denver Thirteenth Floor Experience
- Skip the Line Tickets to Magic of the Jack O’lanterns
