The Mile High City’s newest sci-fi and fantasy event revealed its next special guest: “Supernatural’s own Alpha Vampire, Rick Worthy is headed to GalactiCon Denver!
The incredibly talented and versatile actor has an impressive lineup of iconic roles. As the Alpha Vampire on “Supernatural,” he brought a chilling presence and charismatic villainy to the series. In “Stargate SG-1,” fans were captivated by his role as K’tano, a powerful Jaffa leader. As Simon the Cylon on “Battlestar Galactica,” he gave life to a complex and enigmatic character, adding depth to this acclaimed series. Rick also left his mark on the “Star Trek” universe by portraying six different characters on various shows, including Jannar and Noah Lessing. Certainly, he has been a beloved presence among Trekkies worldwide. Additionally, he enthralled us as Dean Henry Fogg on “The Magicians,” bringing a sense of wisdom and gravitas to the magical world.
Worthy is already in good company with GalactiCon’s previously announced guest Omid Abtahi. Best known for his roles as Salim in Starz Original “American Gods,” Penn Pershing in “The Mandalorian” on Disney+, Saleem Ulman in “NCIS” on Paramount+, and Homes in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.”
GalactiCon Denver is taking place Thanksgiving Weekend, November 24-26, 2023, so happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
