Last night was the 7th episode of “Riverdale” in season 4. It was titled Chapter Sixty-Four: The Ice Storm. Tonight’s episode was the Thanksgiving Day episode, but we all know on this show holidays are never as they seem. In my opinion, the title sums up a lot of this episode up. With an ice storm set to hit Riverdale where will our characters be, who will be together, and who will be stranded for the holiday.
During this episode, I was left asking myself how long this happiness will last with the Lodges? Will we come to find out what Hiram is up to? I would assume as the season unfolds, we will and so much more. In this episode, we get to see how the loss of Fred Andrews is affecting Archie, and Archie’s mom during the holiday. We also find ourselves back with our favorite detectives Betty and Jughead, they are left to try to figure out more of the mystery behind Jughead’s grandfather.
In this episode with it being the holiday, we see Alice and FP offering their kindness to Hiram and Hermione Lodge. Will we find out if they are being kind or just wanting to get information out of them. Lastly, in last night’s episode, we find out that maybe there will be more than one villain this season. On this show, you never know how many villains are lurking behind closed doors. I’m sure as the season progresses, we will get those doors opened either through investigation or surprise.
Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little bit longer to see what other secrets are revealed. Until then, sit back relax and enjoy the show.
