Catch Kimi Alexander in an upcoming “Supernatural” episode. Known for portraying Claire Anderson in “The Followers,” this talented actress has been busy. Not only will there be contact coming for Followers fans, but Kimi has also been producing a commercial, and will be spotted in an upcoming episode of CW’s “Charmed.” She grew up in a small border town in Ontario, Canada, loves laying under the summer sun, doing hip hop, and eating all foods with melted cheese! Get to know Kimi before we see her on “Supernatural.”
Colleen Bement: A big welcome to the “Supernatural” family with your guest role as Sara in episode 16 of this season called ‘Don’t Go In the Woods.’ Three questions:
1.) What can you tell us all about your experience on the set?
Kimi Alexander: It was a very great experience. Jared and Jensen are exactly like what I had heard, down to earth and kind. The crew was also fantastic and fun, there is this great family vibe on the set.
2.) Can you tell us if fans love or love to hate your character?
KA: I think some will love her, some will dislike her. I hope for people to love her.
3.) Were you a fan of the show before you were cast?
KA: It’s outside of the genres I usually watch. But through studying the show before I worked on it, and growing an appreciation for how great the cast and crew have built a community here, I am proud to now be a fan. I really see why this show has so many very supportive fans.
CB: Your filmography is certainly busy lately! What can you share about your future projects that will be out soon?
KA: I am happy to say that if you’re a fan of “The Followers,” you will get to see more content coming soon, and you’ll also be able to catch me in an upcoming episode of “Charmed” on the CW.
Also, on the production side of things, Harrison Houde and I produced a commercial for Syfy that is in the line up to be aired. Directed by the talented Angel Alvarez.
CB: Thank you for taking the time out to chat with me. As a total social media junkie, I absolutely love the concept of “The Followers.” How fun was it to make this web series?
KA: SO fun! Lots of thanks to Milton for bringing me onto this one. Whenever the gang is on set together it just feels like we’re hanging out and having a good time – yet everyone is able to keep a good work ethic while at it. I also love doing my own stunts and fight sequences, which I am so grateful this series has allowed me to do a lot of.
CB: You were an ice skater? I spent many early mornings on the ice as a kid and re-lived it all over again when my daughter found her passion. What do you miss about being in sports such as ice skating, Badminton, and squash?
KA: Although I’ve kept doing my sports recreationally, I miss doing them at the level I used to because the adrenaline is higher the more intense the game/the bigger the jumps can be.
CB: What do you do in your spare time?
KA: In my spare time, I enjoy eating (especially food with melted cheese on it), watching shows and movies – my first go to genres are comedy and musicals. I love doing hip hop, laying in the sun in the summertime, and spending hours on the phone with my best friend Made who is living in Manitoba.
