Dinosaurs, Lego masterpieces, and more are ready to be enjoyed as the Denver Museum of Nature & Science is open for business. Come explore the mysteries of the life of arguably the favorite dino, the T. rex, with SUE: The T. rex Experience. Engage the imagination as visitors will walk between two full-scale casts of SUE and T. rex’s nemesis, the Triceratops. The experience will be immersive with multimedia helping to transport back to a Cretaceous forest. The cool new T. rex exhibit opens Feb. 11 for members, Feb. 12 for the general public. “The Art of the Brick” exhibit is still available. LEGO fans can marvel at artist Nathan Sawaya’s mind-boggling works of art built by LEGO bricks.
The hands-on fun of the DMNS has been missed by so many. A favorite place to visit for Denver area children and adults alike, the museum has continued entertaining and educating throughout the pandemic with online presentations, and has remained open when possible. The T-rex Café and Deli will be open with limited seating. The museum commits to safe spaces, face coverings worn at all times, physical distancing, temperature checks, hand sanitizer stations, and increased ventilation.
