New York City streets will be singing with HBO Max’s three-day pop up experience, “HBO Max On Location” this weekend. “HBO Max On Location,” will take place from June 11-13 (10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. ET) and feature 20 branded sites to visit in Manhattan to celebrate tomorrow’s premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures’ “In the Heights.” Visitors will feel a bit like they are on the set of the exciting new film by exploring the Washington Heights neighborhood walking or by taking Lyft’s Citi Bikes for free. Familiar places like Malecon and Locksmith will be highlighted as part of the experience alongside New York City notables Levain Bakery, Magnolia Cupcakes, and Katz’s Delicatessen. This interactive experience for fans of other iconic HBO Max series and movies not only be fun, it will also supports local businesses that have been suffering during the pandemic.
What better place to host such an experience with so many iconic moments in film and TV history. Lin-Manuel Miranda’s music combined with Jon M. Chu’s directing will transport audiences to where the streets are made of music and little dreams become big.
