Halloween is in full force in LA, and Spectrum Laboratory is once again shaking things up this October. Continuing its commitment to redefining entertainment and partnering with the iconic Laugh Factory and the renowned animation director Jorge Gutierrez, Spectrum Laboratory presents two exciting events that highlight the creativity and talent of neurodivergent artists. California area fans, why not extend the Halloween celebration throughout the week!
Laugh Factory

Kick off the week with Spectrum Laboratory will host a remarkable event at the Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard, featuring the premiere of the short film “HOUSE OF MASKS” and a live presentation of “Spec-ond City,” an improv showcase. This event comes on the heels of the successful “Fighting with Autism” seminar led by Gutierrez, which took place in late September at the Victory Theatre in Burbank, CA. Admission is free! SPEC-O-WEEN

Music and comedy night! Spec Labs will host its second signature spooky season musicale SPEC-O-WEEN, at Barnsdall Theatre in Hollywood. Music lovers will enjoy four Spec Lab bands, more Spec-ond City performances, and one surprise Jorge Gutierrez original poster and T-shirt design. Tickets start at only $35 and are available for purchase here:
Both events are part of Spectrum Laboratory’s ongoing partnership with Autism in Entertainment, where they serve as official educational partners and exhibitors. The LA-based non-profit celebrates neurodiversity and inclusion in the arts. They empower and mentor student artists in acting, film, music, and voiceover work so that they can pursue their passions. And, getting to meet the Emmy and Annie award-winning Jorge R. Guiterrez will be a treat. The Mexican animator, painter, voice actor, writer, and director most recently created “Maya and the Three” for Netflix. It sounds like quite a week. Grab those tickets fast!
