The Halloween magic was back last night at Denver’s Broadway Halloween Parade. The South Broadway area came alive with floats, costumes, and music from 5th Avenue to Alameda. This family-friendly event drew crowds that lined the streets with adults and kids in costumes and smiles. The event was free and sponsored by amazing organizations like the Colorado Festival of Horror and Mutiny Information Cafe.

Mutiny hosted an all-day celebration that featured artists such as COFOH’s own Daniel Crosier, the talented Bonnie Finley, Lonnie MF Allen, Cachet Whitman, Mozdey’s Studio, Joe Oliver, and Mike Collins.

Visitors had the chance to meet the artists and pick up some creative artwork. Joe and Daniel sketched monsters on request, Daniel hosted a scary Halloween storytime, and there was even a kid’s costume contest with prizes.

Visitors enjoyed local food and drinks along the famed South Broadway area and then lined the curbside to watch the parade. Denver was alive with the Halloween spooky spirit, and we can all look forward to next year’s parade.
