“Supernatural” is coming back for its 14th season Oct. 11th at 8PM on the CW. This season will include the 300th episode which will be about how the brother’s hometown of Lawrence, Kansas views them and what they do. This season is sure to be full of surprises with how the season 13th finale ended. Let’s recap a bit, shall we?
The “other world” Michael was able to cross over into the Winchester brother’s world with the help of Lucifer. Meanwhile, Sam, Dean, Cas, Mary, and Jack have taken refugees from the other world into the bunker. Among the refugees is another world, Bobby. Fans are eager to see his relationship will develop with the boys and Mary. If we jump to the end, we know that shockingly, Dean says yes to Michael. Being Michael’s true vessel, as it was in the beginning, Michael agrees and together they make a pact to kill Lucifer. By this point, Lucifer has drained Jack’s grace and now poor Jack is a mere mortal and Luci is stronger than ever. However, in true “Supernatural” theme, the boys prevail. Michael/Dean kills Lucifer, all is well… Until… Michael takes over Dean and is in charge of his vessel. He leaves a confused and worried Sam with a broken Jack. The last thing you see is Michael/Dean walking in a retro coat and hat.
So what does that mean for season 14? Is Lucifer really gone? How will Cas and Sam try to get Dean back? In the past, they have never shied away from working with demons, but with an army of hunters at their disposal, will that be enough to get Dean back? Last season we saw Jack struggle to fit in with his powers. He didn’t always feel like he belonged, where will he be now? How will Jack adjust to this new life? Also, now that there is a group of hunters living at the Men of Letters’ bunker, hopefully, they can help Mary and Cas with the usual caseload.
Well no matter how these questions get answered or what new ones may arise, “Supernatural” is sure to keep fabs on their toes this season. “Supernatural” has gone this far without letting their fans down and always bringing fresh and new ideas to the table. There seems to be plenty of surprise twists and turns ready to be thrown our way. So be sure to tune in Thursdays at 8PM for this monumental season 14 of “Supernatural.”
