The CPOVID-19 Virus has been effecting many nerd events in the past few days. With Creation Ent implementing the no-touching rule for their Las Vegas convention this weekend. South By Southwest has now canceled their event in Austin this month by order of the City of Austin, after canceling their Supernatural panel earlier this week.

Emerald City Con announced earlier today that they would be postponing their event as well. They plan to move it to a later date and will update their website with more information. This makes the third event today to announce it has been affected by the virus outbreaks.

The question now is, who is next? There are so many nerdy events and conventions coming up in the next few months, with the virus continuing to infect more people and the general public becoming more and more anxious about physical contact with others, it is only a matter of time before more events are put on hold or canceled all-together.
