Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Sylvester Stallone is making a major comeback on our screens? Stallone fans, rejoice—because the legendary actor is back for another round of action-packed drama in “Tulsa King” Season 2, premiering on Paramount+ this September. For those who haven’t caught wind of this exciting news, “Tulsa King” Season 2 is set to hit screens in the US on September 15th, and internationally on September 16th.
Executive produced by the powerhouse trio of Taylor Sheridan (yes, the Oscar nominee behind (Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown), Terence Winter (another Oscar nominee known for “Boardwalk Empire” and “The Sopranos”), and Craig Zisk (a multi-award-nominated director), “Tulsa King” promises to deliver even more gritty drama and intense storytelling. In Season 2, we follow Dwight (played by Stallone) and his crew as they navigate the challenges of building and protecting their burgeoning empire in Tulsa. But as they settle into their newfound power, they quickly realize they’re not the only players in town with ambitious plans. Facing threats from the Kansas City mob and a formidable local businessman, Dwight finds himself in a precarious balancing act—protecting his family and allies while managing the complexities of his expanding operation. And let’s not forget—he’s also got unfinished business waiting for him back in New York.
The series boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring talents like Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany. With such a lineup, it’s clear that “Tulsa King” is pulling out all the stops to deliver riveting performances and compelling character dynamics.
