Just two days ago our favorite Werewolves, Werecyotes, Banshees, Kitsunes, Stiles’ and other creatures came together to reminisce over the nine-year anniversary of “Teen Wolf’s first episode, ‘Wolf Moon’.
Tyler Posey (Scott McCall) first revealed the news over Teen Wolf’s social media and fans were ecstatic.
Though Posey did post a tweet earlier in the year asking MTV to bring the “Teen Wolf” family back together, which may be the reason they did.
Hey @MTV i think it’s time to bring teen wolf back for new episodes. First Jersey shore family vacation. Now teen wolf high school reunion. I’m ready. And 28 so it’s an appropriate age

The reunion was initially set for June 5th but was respectfully postponed to June 26th in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
MTV’s Josh Horowitz hosted the reunion and interviewed stars Tyler Posey (Scott McCall), Dylan O’ Brien (Stiles Stilinski), Holland Roden (Lydia Martin), Linden Ashby (Sheriff Stilinski), Melissa Ponzio (Melissa McCall), Orny Adams (Coach), Ian Bohen (Peter Hale), Max Carver (Aiden), Charlie Carver (Ethan), Arden Cho (Kira Yukimara), Shelley Henig (Malia Tate), Dylan Sprayberry (Liam Dunbar), Khylin Rhambo (Mason), Cody Christian (Theo) and producer Jeff Davis.
The main purpose of the reunion was to raise funds and awareness for First Responders First, a fundraiser that helps provide health care workers with essential services and resources needed to protect themselves. You can donate HERE and spread the word with the hashtag #FirstRespondersFirst.
The cast talked about how surreal it was to be together again after so long, but many members confessed that they regularly communicated with each other. They also joked about what it was like when they were first cast and filming the first season. Tyler, Dylan, and other cast members were fresh-faced teenagers at the time and never expected the show to get to where it is today.
While also talking about the set, Orny Adams announced that he didn’t read the whole script and barely knew many of the characters so he genuinely didn’t understand what was going on, like the coach. He quoted that one iconic line he loves but doesn’t understand till this day is, “The bigger they are, the bigger they are.”
The stars also chatted about what memorabilia they took from the set with Dylan O’Brien winning the jackpot by owning Stiles Jeep as well as wearing the shirt that Stiles wore in the first episode of the show.
Josh Horowitz posed the question of what the cast members’ favorite episodes were. Many enjoyed iconic episodes such as the pilot (Wolf Moon), Motel California, the Season 3A finale (Lunar Ellipse), and the Season 3B finale (The Divine Move). He also gave them trivia questions on the show which tested their Teen Wolf knowledge, before asking where the cast believed their characters would be today.
And Jeff Davis FINALLY talked about the possibility of a seventh season. Though he said he could never imagine writing another episode, he joked with Arden Cho about writing a spin-off for Kira and stated that we live in a ‘reboot culture’.
Tyler Posey closed out the reunion by playing the “Teen Wolf” theme song on his guitar.
