Anime fans are far more than friends. They are family.
Colorado Anime Fest is back at the Denver Marriott Tech Center which many conventions call home. The weekend of April 15-17, 2022 is highlighted on calendars of fans waiting to see their friends again. Anime fans are far more than friends. They are family, and their love for the art is unlike any other fandom. The attendees of anime conventions embody a kindness and a respect that is not always found at other conventions.
To say that they love anime is an understatement. It is a passion for a unique media that has grown exponentially over recent years. Networks like Netflix have been offering some amazing anime content lately and the popularity just keeps growing.
The return of this favorite convention has Coloradoans excited. Sewing needles, glue sticks, and fabrics of all kinds are being manipulated into the most creative cosplays in fandom. Anime cosplay is some very special. The guests this year boast amazing talent with names such as SungWon Cho, Khoi Dao, Chris Hackney, Emi Lo, Xander Mobus, Laura Stahl, Abby Trott, and Sarah Anne Williams. And what Anime fest would be complete without Ciarán Strange?! Click to read their bios here.
Colorado Anime Fest was founded in 2014 by a group of friends with decades of combined experience, having run dozens of events across the country. They hosted their first convention in 2016, and they know that they would not be where we are today without their dedicated staff who loves what they do. On top of that, this event has donated $25,101 to local charities to date. Uniquely, they are also a member of the Japan America Society of Colorado. Their Japanese panels are always entertaining and informative.
The passes are affordable at only $50.00 for an adult weekend registration and $25.00 for a child (7-12) registration. More options are available for single days.
