“Harry Potter” fans have something new to look forward to.
“Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses” just might be the greatest fan in Wizarding World history, and the host is the incomparable Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren. The four-night event kicks off Sunday, Nov. 28th at 8:00 p.m. on TBS and Cartoon Network. Guest cast stars include Tom Felton, Simon Fisher-Becker, Shirley Henderson, Luke Youngblood, as well as superfans Pete Davidson and Jay Leno.
“Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses” is coming to TBS and Cartoon Network. The contest will feature fans competing for their Hogwarts house in teams of three going head to head in four battles of Wizarding World trivia questions. A live audience will be on hand to help out. The winning team will advance to a grand finale to determine who will take home the Tournament of Houses championship trophy. In addition to the shiny trophy, the winning house will get a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Wizarding World locations across the East Coast which will include a $1000 shopping spree at the Harry Potter New York store, tickets to the award-winning Broadway production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” a trip to the brand-new touring experience, Harry Potter: The Exhibition, and a three-day and a three-night trip to experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort.
The first match will be “Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff” on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. on TBS and Cartoon Network.
Sunday, Nov. 28 – “Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff”
Helen Mirren hosts the first episode of this epic TV event series. Over four episodes, the Houses of Hogwarts will battle to see which team knows the most about the Wizarding World, featuring more Harry Potter magic than you could find on a day trip to Diagon Alley. Tonight’s match-up sees the brave Gryffindors face the loyal Hufflepuffs for a guaranteed place in the grand finale. Guest stars include: Pete Davidson, Simon Fisher-Becker, Matthew Lewis, and Luke Youngblood.
Sunday, Dec. 5 – “Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin”
Tonight’s blockbuster battle of the Houses of Hogwarts sees the wise and witty Ravenclaws go up against the proud and ambitious Slytherins in a test of Wizarding World knowledge. Only one team can claim an automatic place in the grand finale. As always, tonight’s match-up will take place under the watchful eye of the master of ceremonies Helen Mirren, and guest star Tom Felton, Shirley Henderson, Jay Leno, and Luke Youngblood. Filled with classic Harry Potter movie moments, this is another historic night in Hogwarts history.
Sunday, Dec. 12 – “The Wildcard Round”
Helen Mirren returns to the Wizarding World to oversee this head-to-head wildcard matchup. The two houses that lost their previous battles in this distinguished TV event series now have one last chance to take their place in the grand finale. There will be more Harry Potter trivia than you could squeeze into a cupboard under the stairs. Tonight’s episode is another magical Harry Potter chapter of drama, courage and redemption. Guest stars include: Dan Fogler and Luke Youngblood.
Sunday, Dec. 19 – “The Grand Finale”
Join Helen Mirren for a historic night in the history of Hogwarts as this epic TV event series culminates in the Grand Finale. Tonight’s final edition is full of Wizarding World trivia, packed with magical special guests and overflowing with classic clips. It all comes down to this, one team, one house will tonight lift the inaugural Hogwarts Tournament of Houses trophy.
