For those who have some free time this long Memorial Day Weekend, Max (yes, they’ve changed their name again) has some amazing content to check out. Whether it is the first time or a re-binge, there are many worlds to explore on the platform. Now that HBO Max is now Max, it is celebrating with seven days of curated highlights that will include plenty of nerdy content. Memorial Day Weekend marks the start of summer, and this catalog of films and TV shows will satisfy no matter what mood viewers are in or how much time they have. This Sunday, May 28 is the big day with the highly anticipated series finales of “Succession” and “Barry.” Who will run Waystar? Shiv? Kendall, Roman? Tom? Greg? Many votes seem to lean towards Gerri taking it over. And what’s going to happen to Barry and Sally? Memorial Day weekend can be a perfect time to finish or catch up on these HBO favorites.
Duck in out of the sun for a bit and revisit a favorite episode of animated comedies like “South Park” (26 Seasons), beloved sitcoms like “Friends” (10 Seasons), “The Big Bang Theory” (12 seasons), unscripted series including “90 Day Fiancé” (9 seasons), “Dirty Jobs” (10 seasons), “Deadliest Catch” (19 seasons) and “Say Yes to the Dress” (22 seasons). Sink into HBO Original series like “The Sopranos” (6 seasons), “Veep” (7 seasons), “Game of Thrones” (8 seasons), “Sex and the City” (6 seasons), which commemorates its 25th anniversary. Also, in honor of Memorial Day, viewers can watch classic military titles including the HBO Original award-winning miniseries “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific” along with films like “Pearl Harbor,” “Valkyrie,” “Platoon” and the HBO Original documentaries “We Are Not Done Yet,” and “John McCain: For Whom The Bell Tolls.”
