Now you can watch Costner’s epic western on Max
Chapter 1 of Kevin Costner’s “Horizon: An American Saga” may not have found a lot of success in the theaters, but plenty of people still want to see it. I mean, come on–It’s Costner and the Old West! He directed and starred in a movie that explored the lure of wide open spaces of America and how it was won. He revisited the Civil War era that brought us back to the setting for his 1990 blockbuster and directorial debut “Dances with Wolves” which won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. It sounds enticing enough, right? It sounds like it’s well worth an evening with a bag of popcorn and a bottle of wine.
The cinematography looks stunning and the cast includes star power with the likes of Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, and Giovanni Ribisi who star alongside an impressive ensemble cast that includes Abbey Lee, Will Patton, Jena Malone, Michael Rooker, Danny Huston, Luke Wilson, Jeff Fahey, Isabelle Fuhrman, Ella Hunt, David O’Hara, Owen Crow Shoe, Tatanka Means, Tim Guinee, Scott Haze, Tom Payne, Alejandro Edda, James Russo, Jon Beavers, Jaime Campbell Bower, Michael Anganaro and more. The story is an ambitious adventure that spans 1861 to 1865. “Horizon: An American Saga” has its streaming debut Fri, Aug. 23 exclusively on Max. I know I’ll be checking it out!
