The contestants enter their living quarters with looks of excitement on their faces. They appear to be ready to play some games on the highly-anticipated reality TV show “Squid Game: The Challenge.” Do they realize that they’re following in the footsteps of a bunch of dead contestants from the first “Squid Game”? Good thing this version is a reality TV show and that creepy-ass little girl will shoot paint at them instead of bullets. The 10-episode series premieres on November 22nd. Like the original South Korean hit series, this American adaptation promises to deliver intensity, competition, and drama.
The official Netflix synopsis:
456 real players will enter the competition show in pursuit of a life-changing reward of USD $4.56 million. As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show – plus surprising new additions – their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them.
To keep viewers hooked, “Squid Game: The Challenge” will premiere new episodes weekly, leading up to the grand finale on December 6th. Whether you’re a fan of the original “Squid Game” or a newcomer to the world of competitive reality TV, this show is sure to be a must-watch event of the year. Although fans of the original series may feel a little added stress thinking contestants will die…FOR REAL!
Who will emerge as the ultimate victor in “Squid Game: The Challenge“?
