Their time has passed. Ragnar Lothbrok and his sons Bjorn, Ivar, Ubbe, and Hvitserk live forever in Viking tales that have been told over twelve centuries. The History Channel gave us six seasons of the popular series “Vikings” that spun their amazing stories along with Lagertha, Floki, and more. Now it is time to celebrate the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson. Set over a hundred years after the end of the original Vikings series, “Vikings: Valhalla” is coming to Netflix on Feb. 25, 2022. “Valhalla” will bring fans the tales of the adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived. The legendary explorer Leif Eriksson, his fiery and headstrong sister Freydis Eriksdotter, and the ambitious Nordic prince, Harald Sigurdsson will now be in the spotlight.
We pick up the story again with tensions between the Vikings and the English royals as they clash over the conflicts between Pagan and Christian beliefs. They come to a bloody breaking point that takes the Vikings across oceans on through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond. Showrunner and executive producer, Jeb Stuart along with original showrunner Michael Hirst’s involvement, fans can’t wait to dive into more Viking adventures.
