I bet you’re asking yourself why I should watch the show “No Good Nick.” I’m here to tell you if you are like me you probably grew up watching these two actors. The show stars Melissa Joan Hart, some of you will probably know her from a little show called “Sabrina The Teenage Witch.” The Netflix show also stars Sean Astin of “The Goonies” and “The Lord of the Rings” fame. I know what you all are thinking: What an unusual pairing. I thought the same thing until I watched the show.
It works so well with the two well-known stars from the 90s. The cast also includes Lauren Lindsey Donzis who plays Molly, Kalama Epstein who plays Jeremy, and Siena Agudong who plays Nick. This Netflix series is about a family that takes in a girl by the name of Nick who they believe to be related to them. They are then led to believe that her parents have passed until the truth comes out piece by piece through each episode. Nick’s different schemes affect the family, while throughout the show, we start to see the hardships that Nick has had to face.
This show has a great mystery behind it. The audience never knows what is going to happen next with surprises around every corner. Is Nick bad or is she good; or is the better question is there such a thing? Can one person be just bad or good? With this show, I feel like it shows the audience member that there is always more to a person’s story. I think what’s great about the show is that you don’t really know what to expect.
When we read the show’s title, it draws us in. I know it drew me in. For those viewers that love shows that have twists and turns throughout the season, then this is the show for you. You won’t be disappointed. Also, if you are looking for that family-friendly feel with just a bit of mystery you might have just found your show. Give this show a little time and you will find the joy of losing a whole weekend to it.
