“Doctor Who” fans have something new to look forward to. BBC Studios launches fresh new stories via comics, books, audio dramas, and more. “Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious” Set in the Dark Times at the start of the universe, this story will follow the Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Doctors as they fight off the Daleks, the Ood, and other monsters. With the help of their companions such as Rose Tyler, these stories share insights into what had to be done back then to defend their planet.
According to Producer, James Goss, “BBC Studios’ “Doctor Who” licensees have come together to tell an epic story – one that’s full of monsters, fun, and heart. All strands of the story unite into a mighty patchwork that ranges from one end of the universe to the next,” said James Goss, Producer. “There’s more to be revealed, but the enthusiasm and ideas that the licensees have come up with are breath-taking. It’s going to be such fun.”
The Comics
Release dates: Sept. 2, 2020, and Oct. 3, 2020, via Titan Comics.
These will be over-sized comic issues priced at $5.99. “Time Lord Victorious #1” will have five collectible covers created by talents such as Lee Binding, Andie Tong, Priscilla Petraites, Hendry Prasetya. “Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious #1” is written by Eisner-nominated Jody Houser, with art by Roberta Ingranata.
The Books
Release Dates: September 3, 2020, October 1, 2020, and December 10, 2020
Penguin Random House Children’s will publish the “Doctor Who: The Official Annual
2021” for $10.98. It will include an exclusive tie-in to the “Time Lord
Victorious” story, and will offer fun activities, puzzles, stories, facts, and
illustrations, with a bonus of a peek into the world of the TARDIS. BBC Books will publish two novels – “The Knight, The Fool and The Dead” by Steve for the price of $12.98, and “All Flesh Is Grass” by Una McCormack for the same price.
Collectables
Release Dates: October 2020 and November 2020
Eaglemoss Hero Collector will debut four “Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious” box sets priced at $34.95 each. Boasting hand-painted polyresin figurines at approximately 3.5 inches tall, along with an in-
depth companion magazine.
The Audio Dramas
Release Dates: October 2020 and December 2020
Paul McGann voices a trilogy of exciting full-cast audio dramas from Big Finish priced at $8.99. Cast members joining him will include Silas Carson, Samantha Béart, and Nicholas Briggs. The story titles for the trilogy are as follows:

- ‘The Enemy of My Enemy’ by Tracy Ann Baines
- ‘Mutually Assured Destruction’ by Lizzie Hopley

Release Date: December 3, 2020
BBC Audio brings fans “Doctor Who: The Minds of Magnox” to be released on CD and digital download, as well as a vinyl offering from Demon Records.
