People don’t realize it now, but Captain Marvel (being played by award-winner Brie Larson) is about to reshape not only the superheroine concept of a film, but hopefully the cinematic landscape, and most certainly the genderless concept of being a hero.
Fans of Captain Marvel have been waiting on the edge of their seats to see this hero, Carol Danvers, on the big screen… And the wait for the trailer is over!
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige had this to say about Marvel’s first female-lead super hero in recent coverage with EW:
“She is more powerful than any character we’ve introduced thus far,” Feige told EW. “So that alone tells you that there’s a reason Nick hit that button at the end [of Infinity War], when he realized that they were up against something far bigger than they had ever been up against before. And having her on your side is hopefully going to change the balance of power in a way that they desperately need.”
We can’t wait to find out! Now to go back and watch the trailer a few hundred more times!
