Fans of the hit movie series, ‘The Karate Kid,’ will be pleased to hear that the internet spin off series has a new home. No longer on YouTube premium, ‘Cobra Kai’ will spend it’s third season on Netflix, with season one and two available for catch up from August 28th.

For those unaware, the series sees Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) as adults, still battling it out. Zabka’s down and out Lawrence resurrects the old Cobra Kai dojo, much to the chagrin of Macchio’s LaRusso. The series introduces new characters, such as Daniel’s daughter, Samantha, played by Mary Mouser.

‘Cobra Kai’ received high ratings and solid reviews on YouTube. The switch to Netflix opens up a whole new audience to them, and success is sure to continue.

Season one and two are available for streaming August 28th, with season three to air later this year.

LaRusso and Lawrence face off.
