The Broadmoor World Arena is set to host this year’s Colorado Springs Comic Con next month, August 27-29, 2021. This venue is The Springs’ premiere sports and entertainment venue in the area. It is more than large enough to offer space for the artists, vendors, concessions, celebrity photo ops and autographs, and room to roam. The hotel this year has changed to Colorado Springs Marriott. Congratulations Altered Reality Entertainment for locating an excellent venue this year.

In-person Colorado conventions are set to make their return with this event. Just an hour south of Denver, Colorado Springs has always been in-tuned with the pop culture fandom. A popular annual event, CSCC thrives in the Springs market, as well as attracting fans from Denver and down south. Along with celebrity panels, there are usually gaming and other fun and informative panels to sit in on. As always, the vendor’s room will be a highlight where attendees will find those must-have items. Yes, it is time to ready those costumes and make-up. Cosplay is always popular at CSCC, and entire families join in the fun.

Celebrities? Yes, CSCC has a fun line-up of pop culture guests that include Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian, Supernatural), Osric Chau (Supernatural, The Flash), Chris Bartlett (The Mandalorian), Alan Ritchson (Titans, Jack Reacher), Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw, Carivalle), Breckin Meyer (Franklin & Bash, Crossing Swords), David Koechner (Anchorman, The Office), and the list continues.

Fans of “The Mayans” series will have the chance to meet Frankie Loyal, Michael Irby, and Richard Cabral. The featured artists are exciting Brett Breeding (Superman, The Avengers), Derek Riggs, Joe Rubinstein (Wolverine), Mark May (Hellbringers), and Pat Broderick (The Micronauts). The show is hosted by Altered Reality Entertainment who does a nice job of bringing celebrity guests and fans to the party. Speaking of party, the After Party is a must for the adults. Music, Dancing, and usually drop-in appearances by some of the celebrity guests. Suggest a theme for this year’s After Party for a chance to win free tickets to the party.  The Angry Geek Show will also be there for even more entertainment.
