BBC America has set the date for the premiere of the new “Doctor Who” and the world will finally get the watch the new Doctor in action Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018.

Actress Jodie Whittaker is blazing a trail as the first woman Doctor and she will be joined by new friends, Ryan (Tosin Cole), Yasmin (Mandip Gill) and Graham (Bradley Walsh). Chris Chibnall will be running the show with a promise of plenty of action, humor, emotion, and adventures starting with the first episode titled ‘The Woman Who Fell to Earth.’

The US will get to see the debut at the same time as the UK premiere, and it will be followed by a special encore in its new regular primetime evening slot. The airtime has yet to be set, but fans should know soon. Jodie Whittaker’s first episode will debut on BBC America timed to match the UK broadcast. Stay tuned for updates on BBC America’s socials:
