In case you haven’t heard the news, Denver Pop Culture Con for 2020 has been canceled, and it will return in May 14-16, 2021.

While most understand, pop culture fans are sad to hear the news that this year’s annual Denver Pop Culture Con has been canceled due to COVID-19.  All tickets will be refunded and exhibitors have options for refunds or they can request credits towards next year’s event. According to DPCC:

“Due to Colorado’s Public Health Order preventing events at the convention center through December, Denver Pop Culture Con 2020 is, unfortunately, canceled,” said Denver Pop Culture Con Director Christina Angel in prepared remarks.

“We’re profoundly disappointed that we won’t be able to hold Denver Pop Culture Con this year, but the health and safety of our community is our highest priority. We are committed to doing as much as we can to reduce frustration and inconvenience as everyone deals with this unprecedented situation. And in the meantime, we’ll get to work on creating a fantastic event for 2021.”

Year after year DPCC has been bringing together fans, artists, pop culture celebrities, educators, and of course devoted volunteers and no doubt it was a difficult decision for their staff to make. The DPCC community has been continuing to provide educators and fans with some resources and joy via their online content. Stay posted to their website for online experiences and content that can help people stay engaged during these tough times.

Until next year…
