Drake Bell is showing no signs of slowing down as he continues building excitement around his upcoming album, I Love You. While an official release date for the project has not yet been announced, Bell has fully embraced what he recently called his “I Love You era,” a new chapter centered around love, positivity, and connection through music. Following the recent reveal of the album, the singer-songwriter has been steadily announcing live performances, fan events, and convention appearances across the country throughout the summer of 2026, giving audiences multiple opportunities to experience this new era in person.
The singer and former Drake & Josh star recently introduced the upcoming album in a social media post where he reflected on the lasting importance of love songs. Referencing a quote about people having enough “silly love songs,” Bell explained that he found the opposite to be true and had been spending his time writing music centered around real love — “the kind that forgives, the kind that shows up, and the kind that lifts you up when the world has crushed you.” The heartfelt message set the tone for what fans can expect from the upcoming album and the next chapter of his career.

Alongside teasing the record, Bell has also announced an extensive lineup of live appearances and concerts that will take him across multiple states over the coming months. One of the biggest fan events on the schedule is Bell’s appearance at Iron City Comicon in Birmingham, Alabama on May 30–31, where attendees will have the chance to meet the performer during the popular convention weekend.
Bell will also continue his ongoing relationship with Tin Roof, a venue brand he has frequently performed at in recent years. His currently announced Tin Roof dates include Columbia, South Carolina on June 11, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on June 12, St. Louis, Missouri on July 9, and Indianapolis, Indiana on July 10. Nerd Alert News has attended a few of Bell’s Tin Roof performances and they are always packed, often selling out entirely. Our advice is to get your tickets now and arrive early!

Additional intimate performances are scheduled at City Winery locations in Nashville, Tennessee on June 1 and New York City on August 5, giving fans a chance to experience Bell in a more personal live setting. Known for combining a concert atmosphere with an upscale dining and winery experience, City Winery venues are designed for close, immersive performances, making them an ideal fit for the heartfelt and love centered tone Bell has been teasing throughout the I Love You era.
Bell is also returning for another summer with the 2000s Bar Crawl, a nostalgia driven event series created by Bar Crawl Nation that combines themed nightlife experiences with live entertainment. This year’s stops include Minneapolis on June 6, Raleigh on June 13, Chicago on July 11, Denver on July 25, and Boston on August 1. Bell previously participated in the event in 2025, making this his second consecutive year hosting and performing as part of the tour. Bar Crawl Nation has also mentioned that more dates are being added, but as of yet nothing has been confirmed.

Beyond those appearances, Bell has also announced additional concerts at venues around the country, including Downtown Music Hall in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on June 24, Brewsky’s in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on June 29, House of Independents in Asbury Park, New Jersey on July 29, The Webster in Hartford, Connecticut on July 31, Ocean Mist in South Kingstown, Rhode Island on August 3, and Empire Live in Albany, New York on August 6.
While fans continue waiting for an official release date for I Love You, Bell’s packed schedule makes it clear that the new era is already in full swing. Between convention appearances, intimate venue performances, and large nostalgia events, the artist is keeping close to fans while building anticipation for what looks to be a heartfelt and uplifting new chapter in his music career.

In the meantime, listeners can also check out Bell’s latest release, “Nevermind,” created alongside acclaimed songwriter and producer Toby Gad. The track offers another glimpse into Bell’s current musical direction and serves as an early taste of the emotion and themes that may define the I Love You era.
