The “Friends Reunion” is the hottest news.
So no one told you life was going to be this way. Your job’s a joke, you’re broke, you’re love life’s DOA. 27 years later, those lyrics bring back so many good memories. Now, the entire cast is back for a real-life, unscripted celebration of the series that put them all on the map. It debuts Thursday, May 27th on HBO Max. Welcome back Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. This special was filmed on the original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros Studio lot in Burbank. The couch and the coffee house backdrop will no doubt bring smiles to multiple generations that have fallen in love with “Friends.”
It was Sept. 22nd, 1994 when audiences first heard that song, and 10 seasons later, these six actors took their place in Pop Culture history. Fans of the 90s TV series “Friends” could relate. Every week they tuned in to watch these six people run the gambit of friendship and just making it through life. What the characters went through are pretty much no different than what people in their 20s and 30s are going through today. Well, except for the pandemic that has changed everything. After a year stuck inside and living through Zoom and social media, this is an ideal time to bring people some much-needed joy.
