Hoping for record-breaking attendance, one of North Carolina’s favorite fan conventions, GalaxyCon Raleigh, is offering up some of the biggest stars in the business with actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Star Wars”, “Star Trek” and Nostalgic TV. The early lineup is already amazing with Grant Gustin, Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Karen Gillan, Stephen Amell, Ian Somerhalder, Paula Abdul, Steve Burns Joel McHale, Giancarlo Esposito, and Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, AJ McLean, and Joey Faton. That’s not all! Adding to that list are The Shat himself, William Shatner, and other Trek cast members Kate Mulgrew, Gates McFadden, Levar Burton, John De Lancie, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, and Denise Crosby. How about “Star Wars” alum Billy Dee Williams, Dave Barclay, Ming Na-Wen, and Mike Quinn?!

The Raleigh Convention Center is hosting the four-day celebration of fandom and it boasts celebrities, creators, voice actors, cosplayers, entertainers, fan groups, gamers, panelists, and more. It is the largest attendance the building has ever hosted and with this year’s lineup, records are likely to break. In addition to communal activities and spectacles, GalaxyCon will once again offer up tabletop and video gaming tournaments, FSCW – Fantasy Super Cosplay, wrestling, costume contests, photo-ops, late-night parties, and events, and a full exhibition room of comics, merch, and collectible vendors!
