It was a beautiful day for a marathon! Today I was able to watch the Boston Marathon from the sidelines. It was definitely something that everyone should experience. The number of people cheering and clapping for everyone was just incredible. I, of course, was there to cheer on Jared and Genevieve Padalecki.

The “Supernatural” favs both started the race together but not long after the start, Gen took off at a faster pace on her own.

She finished with an impressive time of 3:36:59. Jared has a more leisurely pace mostly due to the fact that he was stopping along the route to talk to fans and take photos with them. Jared finished with a time of 4:32:24.

The Padalecki’s ran the race under the charity ticket for the Dream Big Foundation. They managed to raise over $30,000 which will go to help underprivileged girls get a chance to participate in sports programs. I am so proud of the Padalecki’s and all that they accomplished today.
