Nerd Alert News loves cheesy sci-fi movies. There is nothing like the pure joy of watching monsters battle it out in some populated city. Whether it be a sub-human or a kaiju, it’s always fun to watch them crunch, kill, and destroy everything in sight. It’s entertaining, and often laughable, to watch the humans work together to scramble for ways to defeat the threat. Introducing “Ape vs. Mecha Ape.”
The military decides that having a giant ape would be a good idea and created its own battle-ready A.I. Mecha Ape. What could go wrong?! Well, apparently, everything could go wrong. When the first test of the robot goes awry, it becomes uncontrollable, wreaking havoc on downtown Chicago. Let’s hope for plenty of futile attempts to take down these giant creatures while watching copious buildings collapse, cars smashed into pieces, and guns and tanks waste ammunition on larger-than-life monster apes. With no other options left, the military is forced to release the giant Ape from captivity to stop the rampaging Mecha Ape. What follows is an epic battle between the two colossal creatures that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The cast includes Tom Arnold (True Lies), Jack Pearson (Pam & Tommy), Anna Telfer (Top Gunner: Danger Zone), and Xander Bailey (Titanic 666). The creative genius behind the project is Writer/Director Marc Gottlieb, best known for “Aquarium of the Dead.”
Fans of this genre of monster movies are in for a treat with the upcoming release of this sequel made by the experts in monster entertainment, The Asylum. No doubt “Ape vs Mecha Ape” will deliver an action-packed and thrilling ride as always. Who wants to see a monster-sized ape fight a robot ape? We do. Yes, please.
