Arriving just in time for the most horror-ific time of the year, “Halloween Kills,” starring Jamie Lee Curtis, will be in theaters, and exclusively on Peacock, on October 15, 2021. This will be the 13th installment of the Micheal Myers movie franchise.

Blumhouse Productions presents “Halloween Kills,” the sequel fans have been anticipating since the 2018 retake of the original 1978 film. Called “The Blumhouse Trilogy,” these productions consist of the aforementioned 2018 ‘Halloween,’ as well as ‘Halloween Kills,’ and a final movie, “Halloween Ends,’ to be released in the fall of 2022. These movies have taken the original concept and changed the plot slightly, but fans can still expect the same core concept of a maniacal killer on the loose, out-slashing victims in gory style.

Not all of the ‘Halloween,’ movies have followed the same timeline, and therefore the stories vary and are not all linked. Some versions have the original Laurie Strode (played by Curtis) and Micheal Myers as siblings, but in the Blumhouse versions, that isn’t the case. Early on in production, Blumhouse made a point to explain that the blood connection wasn’t there. “Kills,” is a direct sequel to 2018’s “Halloween,” in which the two characters are not portrayed as siblings.

Fans can see Jamie Lee Curtis in her fifth reprisal of her character as Laurie Stroud in “Halloween Kills.” Just in time for Halloween, you don’t want to miss this one!
