Jeff Goldblum, the one and only, is set to join the cast of the dark comedy show “Search Party” on HBO Max. The fifth season welcomes the Oscar and Emmy Award-nominated actor with the recurring role of Tunnel Quinn. Goldblum will excel at playing Tunnel as a charismatic tech billionaire who enters into a business partnership with the character Dory (Alia Shawkat) just after her near-death experience. Dory seeks out her old friends Portia (Meredith Hagner), Elliott (John Early), and Drew (John Reynolds) in hopes that they will join this terrifying journey.

“Search Party” is a Max Original series that is led by Executive Producers Sarah-Violet Bliss, Charles Rogers, Michael Showalter, and Jax Media’s Lilly Burns and Tony Hernandez. It has had some wonderful recurring actors such as Ron Livingston, Clare McNulty, Rosie Perez, and so many more. It is a dark comedy about four self-absorbed twenty-somethings who become entangled in an ominous mystery when a former college acquaintance suddenly disappears. Goldblum describes the show: Search Party is such a brilliant show. What a thrill and a privilege it is to get to be a little part of it! I respect and adore everyone involved with this magical entertainment.

Famous for his “Jurassic Park” film roles, Goldblum is a stage, film, and TV actor who also happens to be a talented musician. His jazz album Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra The Capitol Studios Sessions was ranked #1 on Billboard’s Jazz charts. Lately, he’s been busy hosting his Critics Choice Real TV Awarded National Geographic show “The World According to Jeff Goldblum,” along with coming back as Dr. Ian Malcom in the newest dinosaur development “Jurassic World: Dominion.” Or course, his fans also know him from “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Hotel Artemis,” “Isle of Dogs,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Independence Day,” and remember him from the 1986 version of “The Fly?”
