Does the world need another zombie series? Yes, of course, it does. The highly anticipated young adult zombie show called “All of Us Are Dead” is headed to Netflix on January 28th, 2022. Netflix announced the premiere date along with an enticing trailer.

The legendary Zombie webtoon is a Korean-style zombie graphic novel by Joo Dong-geun and it has been adapted into a tv series with hit-makers Director Lee JQ and Writer Chun Sung-il at the helm. This teenage zombie show follows a group of students who are trapped in a high school only to find themselves in dire need of rescuing. While the intense zombie invasion is developing outside the school walls, these kids are plunged into horror and chaos. The schoolyard is stained with blood and the building is engulfed in flames. Students are trapped inside the school walls as they learn about the mysterious zombie virus.

Soon the zombies threatening the survivors will be the once-human students. These kids are trapped in the school with no cellphones, no food, no adults, and there is a virus raging everywhere. The first scene is in a school lab where the audience will first learn about the zombie virus. The survivors are faced with defending themselves with desk lamps, bookshelves, and whatever they can find in their desperate fight for survival.

Netflix fans have been looking forward to this project and are excited to have these talents in charge. The director, Lee JQ did the series “Beethoven Virus” “The Legendary Police Woman,” and “Intimate Strangers.” Chun Sung-il, the writer, is known for  “LUCA: The Beginning,” “The Slave Hunters,” and “The Pirates.” “All of Us Are Dead” is a first-ever Korean teenage zombie survival challenge that stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee You-Mi, Lim Jae-hyeok, and more.
