It’s that time again. Nerd Nite Denver is back to challenge our brains and make us laugh. End the work week with an event that activates the mind while learning, laughing, and of course, a little drinking. This month’s show is May 26th and it happens to be at one of the coolest venues in Denver: The Bug Theatre. Leading the night is expert Bill Farrand who will chat about Mars Exploration. Then Jesse Stedman will be covering the interesting topics of recycling, rollers, and raccoons! Rounding the night off will be Keri Bean who will tell us the ins and outs of driving rovers on Mars.
What is Nerd Nite Denver? To keep it simple, it is like TED Talks but with drinking. Thinking and drinking! School is in session and it is actually super fun! Check out Friday’s speakers.

The Curiosity rover has been exploring Gale Crater on Mars since 2012 and Perseverance has exploring Jezero crater since 2021. The two rovers have revealed a wealth of information about the early history of Mars and Dr. Farrand, from his perspective as a member of the Curiosity science team will provide an update on their activities.
