This week “Riverdale” returned with their musical episode titled ‘Chapter Seventy- Four: Wicked Little Town.’

This was the shows third musical episode since the show started. I have to say this one was by far one of my favorites. The meaning behind the musical that they chose could not have matched any better. This episode they chose was “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”. I wasn’t familiar with it, but after hearing the songs, it is defiantly a musical that I want to watch.

The principal Mr. Honey did not want Kevin Keller to perform any song from this musical due to the meaning behind it. He didn’t feel it would be appropriate for the Variety Show. The gang rallied together to back Kevin up and they decided to sing all the songs from the musical, of course, Mr. Honey wasn’t happy with this so the student’s had to come up with another way to get the music out. Since this is the town of Riverdale we all know that there is always someone lurking in the shadows watching. Will we ever come to find out who that is? I suspect by the end of this season we will.

If you like musicals I believe you will enjoy this episode. I appreciated finally getting to see Kevin Keller having his time in the spotlight and rebelling against Mr. Honey. In this musical episode, we got to see some great flashbacks, let’s just say some old feelings are returning. I defiantly am interested to see where this will lead, for now, we will have to wait till the next episode to see what will occur. Buckle up it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
