Last night was the fifth episode of “Riverdale” in season 4. It was titled ‘Chapter Sixty-Two: Witness for the Prosecution.’ In my opinion so far this season of “Riverdale” has had so many twists and turns that it can be very difficult to keep up with it every episode. I’m always saying “what just happened” by the end of every episode. The thing I love about this show is that the audience honestly never knows where the showrunners will take the storyline next.

I have to say last night’s episode did answer some of the questions that I’ve had since the very beginning of the series. We finally found out more about Jughead’s grandfather. It was interesting to find out a little bit more about the Jones family history, this hasn’t really been touched on yet, until this episode. I am definitely hoping that in a future episode we will meet the grandfather, I mean so far, it’s hard to tell if he is alive or dead. I have a feeling he has a part to play in this storyline. Speaking about someone who has a story to play is Veronica’s new sister. In this week’s episode, we also met Veronica’s sister at her speakeasy, it makes me as an audience member wonder is this really Hiram’s daughter or did, Hiram hire her to replace Veronica? I’m sure as the season progresses, we will get those questions answered in some way or another.

I am definitely looking forward to what else this season has to offer because right now I don’t have any clue what direction this season is going to take. Stay tuned until next week who knows maybe more secrets will be revealed. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
